Steven Gores will be releasing a new album of eleven original compositions on piano. Titled Granite Majesty, Steven's compositions in this release reflect the cyclical nature of earth’s often fierce repair and the struggle of humanity to comprehend the need. The album is fondly named for his experiences along the shores of Lake Superior. From the once vibrant mining town of Calumet in the UP to the tranquil harbors of Rossport, Ontario, and the popular destination towns of Bayfield and Grand Marias, the wilderness, the people and the history are as resistant and revealing as the shifting surfaces of granite and water.
